Writing and researching are like breathing for me. Currently most of my time is spent doing repairs in my fixer-upper cabin in the woods. I live here with thirty cats (and a dog) from my original colony that moved here with me. There was a small cat family living here when I arrived. The mother had kittens, and her kittens had kittens or were pregnant with kittens. We did some "aborting" which I would not do with a human, but the young mothers were struggling, and their kittens were all dying. When they had kittens on another property, I could not help them. There are ten cats residing here from this one mother and everyone is fixed but one male. He has been impossible to trap. Truly, my time and resources currently go to making a home and caring for the colony. But hang in there with me, eBooks will start appearing on this website. The link is below for my extended family.
Raising the planets conscience about all living creatures, especially domestic ones, is vital to the future of this planet. Animal cruelty stems from human cruelty. And it is much broader than cats versus dogs or us against them, even though I deal with that a lot.
Where I live it is "no kill", and cats are fixed and released back into the community where they came from. They are free roaming cats, and the tipped left ear says they are fixed and hopefully someone is watching over them. That is the law as written in this county. I watch over many.
Also there is a leash law, where you keep your dog on your own property; it is not allowed to run around terrorizing the neighborhood (and the community cats.) County Commissioners make these rules so that everyone can abide safely together. It is law. I have the intelligence to understand these laws and abide by them.
Each individual has the responsibility to care for life on our planet, which in turn makes a healthier and happier place for all of us.

Naturally these websites will intertwine since each is a big part of my life.
